Family Photo Session!

Last Sunday, we met Robyn Farmer for a family photo session in hopes of getting a good pic for Christmas cards this year.  Not only did we get dozens of AMAZING pictures (they don't make a Christmas card big enough to hold all of my favorites!), I think I also came away with a new friend.  :)  Robyn is the mother of a toddler and was AWESOME with Jake.  It was a very laid back session that started with some tears (couldn't help it...saw the four chairs lined up and I lost it a little!) and ended with smiles and hugs.  Thank you, Robyn, for "getting it" and for capturing some very sweet family moments.  We also can't wait for a newborn session - hopefully sooner rather than later!!!  :)

Trick-or-treat!

Halloween this year was much more exciting than last year.  Last year, Jake mostly rode in his stroller and barely walked up the steps to the houses.  This year, he was running around like a crazy person chasing the Dalman boys and collecting candy.  :) 

We started our Halloween festivities with Jake's school party.  SO CUTE!  All of the kids were dressed up...Jake was a werewolf and Jake's BFF, Collin, was a pirate.  (How cute are those boys?!)  Jake's teachers Miss Beth and Mrs. Wills are awesome and they always make the holidays special!

   

 

 

 

After school, we moved on to a pre-Halloween party at the Zeiders' beautiful new casa.  We ate some tasty treats, had a few beverages, and enjoyed a beautiful evening watching the boys play in the backyard.  (Thank you, Rachel, for picking off the stickers!)  The Dalman boys, Beckett and Fletcher, are so sweet to Jake and are like his big brothers.  :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, it was time for the big event!  This year we trick-or-treated in our NEW NEIGHBORHOOD!  We got to say hello to the Ebel's (Jenn's parents), our friend's the Gonzo's (and PRECIOUS Liam!), and even got to scope out some of the new neighbors.  :)  Jake ran around with that big furry noggin' and had a blast!  After about an hour and 6 or 7 houses, it was time to call it a night.  Our little werewolf was tired and cranky and so were we!  It was a PERFECT night, though, with dear friends and our favorite little trick-or-treater!
